That is pretty damn well done. I'm pleased that I know most of the bands on there- which I should probably credit to hanging out with Scott for the last year and a half. It's also the reason that, when I go home, I get drunk and force my confused friends to listen to Boris.
As a barely related side note, System of a Down confuses the shit out of me. Most people I know don't listen them, but my friends who do act like it's unquestionably awesome music. But it's total garbage, right? Am I the crazy one here? What the hell is going on?
We discussed this in the offices today, but I guess it's worth re-addressing.
I have System of a Down's first album and it's pretty good. My take on them is that they are definitely nu-metal, which makes them really terrible right off the bat. But, at the same time, they're pretty weird and do some cool stuff musically, which kind of elevates them from "really terrible" to "pretty good".
I'd be skeptical of anyone who thinks they're unquestionably awesome, though.
The bigger question, though, is why is Queensrÿche under "Foreign Sounding" and not "Umlauts"?
Funny stuff, it's nice to finally have some framework for the complex and thought provoking world of heavy metal band names.
Ditto the Queensrÿche question. I'm not sure what foreign language that's supposed to sound like. I also had no idea the Book of Revelations mentioned anything about a Mexican Santa, guess I need to take a closer look at that thing.

Ämmonia. If only unicode had an umlauted N, it would be even better as ":NH3" Trust me, this is actually really very funny and clever if you're a chem nerd. "Lëwis Bäse" or "H2Ö:" would also rock the umlaut categories in a whole new multilevel way
